Strategy that survives
contact with reality.

I work at the intersection of business and technology — helping operators and leaders turn ambitious strategy into reality, and bring real innovation, including AI, to how their organizations run.

My work has consistently focused on moments where organizations need to convert complex strategy into operating reality, and keep it intact through change.

About

Engineer. Operator. Advisor.

I'm an engineer by training and a strategist by trade, and almost all of my work has lived at the intersection of business and technology. Over nine years I've gone from the plant floor to the boardroom — across mission-critical space systems, global strategy consulting, and operating-model and AI transformation — always chasing the same thing: making something work better than it did before.

That thread runs through every role. I designed automation systems at Promation, kept space robotics running and supported new-technology development at MDA, helped build a value-engineering practice and launch a new product at EY-Parthenon, and reshaped operating models — and introduced growing organizations to AI — at ADAPTOVATE. Today, as an Engagement Manager at Teragonia, I work at that same intersection of strategy, data, and AI to drive value creation for investors and the companies they back.

Whether I'm working as an advisor, a thought partner, or an embedded operator, the job is the same: help leaders clarify what they're really trying to achieve, build an operating model that reflects it, and stay close enough to execution to make sure the intent survives. An engineer's rigour, a consultant's range, and a bias for building — not just advising.

AI & Value Creation

Turning early AI momentum into a funded, build-ready plan

Led an AI use-case diagnostic for a Canadian organic-snack manufacturer (~$400M revenue): interviewed 20+ stakeholders, benchmarked CPG peers, and scored 70+ use cases down to three build-ready pilots across smart manufacturing, supply chain, and consumer insights — alongside a federated AI governance model.

Value Creation

Finding $20M in a product line most thought was already optimized

Served as Engagement Manager leading a global team through teardown workshops, supplier interviews, and bottoms-up cost modelling across six blender SKUs. Delivered cost reduction recommendations to VP Engineering.

Technical & Industrial

Turning an in-house lab into a NASA-grade Centre of Excellence

Led a $615K transformation of MDA's robotics testbed into a state-of-the-art simulation facility for Canadarm2 and other space systems. Designed control modules, led manufacturing, and oversaw qualification. The facility became a Centre of Excellence now testing hardware from NASA.

Extending the life of a critical ISS system by rethinking the replacement strategy

Identified over $12M in cost avoidance by challenging assumptions around critical Canadarm2 component replacement. Conducted a feasibility study and presented life-extension recommendations directly to the Program Director of the ISS at NASA and the Canadian Space Agency.

Operating Model Design

Rebuilding how a global pharma organization works

Led operating-model redesign across three divisions of a global pharmaceutical client during a major enterprise cost-reduction program. Redesigned governance forums, decision rights, and operating rhythms; built role-based playbooks and change communications to drive adoption.

Approach

I don't believe in strategy that lives only in a deck. Every engagement I run is oriented toward one outcome: making sure the intent survives contact with execution.

01

Strategy & Operating Model Design

Helping leadership teams define how the business should actually operate — who owns what, how decisions get made, how work flows, and how execution gets measured.

02

Operational Performance & Value Creation

Diagnosing and improving throughput, cost structure, and delivery reliability in technical organizations. Not generic efficiency work — the kind that requires understanding what's actually happening on the ground.

03

Transformation Leadership & Execution Stewardship

Helping organizations preserve strategic intent through execution — governing transformation at the level of outcomes, not activity. This is where most firms fall short.
